Grown in the highlands of Kericho County, this lot comes from the producer‑led group Lot 20, a collective dedicated to elevating coffee quality across western Kenya. The cherries are fully washed at Samuel Koskey’s small but meticulous facility in Kunyak, where raised beds, a natural spring water source, and careful processing preserve the region’s classic Kenyan character. After drying, the coffee travels to Bremen for Ethyl Acetate decaffeination, a sugarcane method that maintains the clarity, sweetness, and structure of the original cup—ensuring it remains unmistakably Kenyan even without the caffeine. Omwani’s direct partnership with Lot 20 reflects their commitment to transparent, producer‑forward sourcing, showcasing the beauty and identity of Kericho through every cup.

Method: Washes/ Decaffeinated

Farmers carefully handpick ripe cherries, and washed at the processing facility in Kunyak. Once dried, the coffee is taken to be decaffeinated through the Ethyl Acetate method - derived from sugarcane which is a gentle and efficient process to the green beans.
